Q: What happens to your deposit if no unit is allocated or the unit allocated is not per your preference?
A: As you are only required to submit a photocopy of the draft/certified cheque, the original is still with you. You can opt not to proceed further and no further action is required at your end, as no deposit has been paid at this stage. Original Draft / Certified Cheque will only be required at the time of signing “Agreement of Purchase & Sale”.
