About this project

This is a pre-construction development project by Malibu Investments and is just 4 minutes drive from Yorkdale Shopping Centre,  a luxurious and upscale lifestyle mall . This venture is located in the Wilson Heights neighbourhood in North York, which is one of the fastest growing regions in the GTA – due in large part to Malibu Investments and the city’s Tippett Road Regeneration project. This development will sit on the west side of Tippett Road, and it will be facing Malibu Investment’s Southside project development. It will be split across two buildings that will be separated by a private road that is going to be built during construction. Express Condos completion date is tentatively set for 2021.

The southernmost building will be a single 16 storey (Tower A). The building on the northern side of the private road will have two towers that will be joined by a 6 storey podium. The central building (Tower B) will be 13 storeys tall, and the northern most building (Tower C) will be 16 storeys tall.

The entire development is set to have 651 units that will include 21 bachelor units, 414 one bedroom units, 177 two bedroom units, and 39 three bedroom units. Tower A will have 250 total residences, and the eastern structure will house the remaining 401 dwellings. The ground floor of the northern building will have 14,198 square feet of retail space. There will be a two floor underground parking garage that will hold a total of 560 parking spaces – 483 intended for residents, and 77 for visitors.

Amenities:
The building will feature a series of green roofs, which is a good sign for those who are looking to invest in environmentally sustainable developments. Building off this sustainability, there will also be extensive room for bike storage.

The ground floor of Tower A will have a total of 9,022 square feet of space for amenities, and the northern structure will have 6,347 square feet for amenities on the ground floor. This space will be used for a fitness room, party room, and much more. This development is also going to feature 24-hour concierge service.

The grounds of these towers will have several landscaped courtyards, and there is a new park that will be on the properties’ ground as well.

Location & Neighbourhood:
The Express will be placed in the Wilson Heights neighbourhood of North York. This location is becoming one of the quickest growing areas inside the Greater Toronto Are, due to the Tippett Road Regeneration Study. The study resulted in the city council concluding that the locale was ready for a major population injection.

The development is located only a few minutes’ drive away from the York Mills Shopping Centre, which provides a grocery store, a drugstore, restaurants, and much more. The neighbourhood also has numerous schools. With the number of three bedroom units in this complex, this is a fantastic choice for families.

Express Project has an amazing Transit Score with 93/100. There are opportunities to pick up some odds and ends on foot, but the real mobility of this neighbourhood is the Wilson Subway Station. This station provides access to almost everywhere, and upon the completion of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, the entire city will be at your fingertips. These new Building are also at the intersection of two major highways for the GTA.

With the help from Highway 401, a twenty minute drive could take you as far as central Vaughan or Markham to the north, the heart of Mississauga to the west, the eastern end of Scarborough to the east, and central downtown Toronto to the south.
